I'm Davide Marzotto (Dave for the friends) and I was born in 1985.
I am an aerospace engineer and a photographer.
In the past I worked for a local newspaper as photoreporter.
The passion of photography was born in 2005 when I first bought the Minolta Dynax 505si film camera which was followed by an unexpected and wonderful gift from my father in 2006: the first digital SLR, a Canon EOS 400D with which I started to take more and more pics.
Following the optics, cameras and accessories are gradually evolved with a lot of purchases, sales and trades.
Nowaday I shoot with a Canon EOS 5D and a Canon EOS 30 film camera that I sometimes use to take B&W pictures.
Talking about the lenses I currently own a Sigma 12-24, a Canon EF 50 f/1.4, a Sigma 70-200 2.8 and a Tamron 28-75 2.8.
In past I used also a lot of other lenses that I've then sold.. Some of these are: Canon 70-200 f/4 L USM, Canon 17-85 IS, Sigma 15-30, Sigma 18-50 DC, Sigma 150 Macro EX, Sigma 150-500 OS HSM, Tamron 200-400, Pentacon 135 f/2.8, Pentacon 200 f/4, Canon 200 f/2.8 L USM mkII, Tokina 11-16 At-x Pro, Canon 17-40 L, Canon 300L f/4, Canon 135 L f/2, .
Flash: I use a Sigma 500 Super DG but rarely 'cos I prefer the ambient light.
